Metochem WS-Sealant-1 Gaur City 2

Phosphating & Metal Treatment Chemicals

Metochem WS-Sealant-1 is a specially formulated water-based sealant designed to enhance corrosion resistance and improve the overall performance of phosphated metal surfaces. It forms a thin, uniform sealing layer over treated surfaces, effectively closing micro-pores in phosphate coatings and providing an additional barrier against moisture, oxidation, and environmental contaminants. This results in significantly improved durability and extended service life of metal components.

The formulation of Metochem WS-Sealant-1 ensures excellent surface penetration and uniform sealing, making it ideal for post-treatment applications after zinc or manganese phosphating processes. It enhances coating integrity and improves the adhesion of subsequent finishes such as painting or powder coating, resulting in better appearance and long-lasting protection.

Metochem WS-Sealant-1 plays a crucial role in reducing corrosion-related failures by strengthening the protective properties of phosphate coatings. Its water-based composition makes it environmentally friendly and easy to apply, while ensuring consistent performance without affecting dimensional accuracy or surface finish. It is particularly suitable for components exposed to humid, industrial, or outdoor environments.

By choosing Metochem WS-Sealant-1, industries benefit from an efficient and reliable sealing solution that enhances coating performance, improves corrosion resistance, and supports sustainable surface treatment practices—ensuring superior product quality and extended operational life.
