Metochem WS-Sealant-2 Gaur City 2

Phosphating & Metal Treatment Chemicals

Metochem WS-Sealant-2 is an advanced water-based sealant developed to provide enhanced corrosion protection and superior sealing performance for phosphated metal surfaces. It forms a uniform and durable sealing layer over zinc or manganese phosphate coatings, effectively blocking micro-pores and preventing the ingress of moisture, oxygen, and environmental contaminants. This significantly improves the corrosion resistance and extends the service life of treated metal components.

The formulation of Metochem WS-Sealant-2 ensures excellent penetration and consistent surface coverage, making it highly effective as a post-treatment solution in metal surface treatment processes. It enhances the integrity of phosphate coatings and improves the adhesion of subsequent finishes such as painting and powder coating, resulting in a smoother finish and improved overall appearance.

Metochem WS-Sealant-2 plays a vital role in minimizing corrosion-related failures and maintenance requirements by strengthening the protective properties of treated surfaces. Its water-based composition makes it environmentally friendly, easy to handle, and safe for use in modern industrial processes. The product ensures uniform sealing without affecting dimensional accuracy or surface quality, making it suitable for components exposed to humid and aggressive environments.

By choosing Metochem WS-Sealant-2, industries benefit from a reliable and high-performance sealing solution that enhances coating durability, improves corrosion resistance, and supports sustainable surface treatment practices—ensuring long-term protection and consistent product quality.
